IMB is repositioning itself in the storage/network range.
With two new product lines, namely the b-type from its specialty brand Brocade
and j-type, a product from Juniper Networks, IBM returns to the Datacenter
Networking market. These new products focus on the brand-new technology
surrounding 10 GBit Converged Enhanced Ethernet - the combination of SAN
and LAN. The possibilities are extensive and the compatibility with the existing
infrastructure will be completely retained.
